Zürich Art Weekend comprises the coordination of over 65 participating venues, including internationally renowned museums, galleries, and public collections. The city-wide event happens ahead of Art Basel from Friday, 13 June – Sunday, 15 June 2025 with many a prost! as glasses clink over the tiled rooftops, amongst the clocks and spires.
An efficient (less than one hour) train ride away from Basel, the Zürich puts on their best exhibitions of the year ahead of their esteemed neighbour’s revered art fair which attracts art enthusiasts from around the globe, many of whom prefer to stay lakeside.
Art Guides World is excited to provide a three day itinerary to the intimate city of Zürich. It will include gallery openings, museum tours, studio visits, and special events allowing for in depth discussions about art and culture.
The guide will give you a chance to meet and converse with gallery directors, curators, and artists, gaining exciting insights into exhibitions, artworks, and architecture.
Highlights include opening nights on Rämistrasse in the center of Zürich by the lake, and the Löwenbräu – an art center with museums, galleries, and restaurants, and a visit to Kunsthaus Zürich, a stunning building by Chipperfield Architects housing major European art collections and contemporary exhibitions by world-renowned artists.
